"The Swimmer"
necklace is 15 strands of turquoise glass seed beads & Swarovski
crystals which "swims" gracefully around one side of the neck, with
turquoise pebbles, Czech glass and catseye beads knotted on tan silk
cord on the other side. The centerpiece of this necklace is an amazing hand-blown glass bead made
by one of my favorite glass bead artists, Harold Williams Cooney. The
bead is hollow and
each bead he
makes is unique with a beautiful design and a great feel. This bead
measures
1-7/8" x 1/2" thick. This was the first of the series of
necklaces made using focal beads made by the talented Mr. Cooney. This
necklace
measures 18-1/2 inches and has a gold-filled clasp and engraved tag,
signed Julia Bristow. Please request extender chain
if necessary.
